My name is Maddie, and I’m studying abroad in Milan, Italy! I’m a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, studying Design.
About the trip:
I will be documenting my travel experiences for friends and family to see on this blog. The programs, Design in Context: Milan, is a maymester study abroad through UT. From UT Study Abroad:
“The Maymester course takes full advantage of its location, and through a combination of onsite lectures and visits to design museums and galleries, as well as to design schools and working design offices, it guides students firsthand through the history of Italian design and production. The course examines product, furniture, fashion, and architectural design in context in Milan, and also affords students the opportunity to visit a number of other sites in Northern Italy.”
